Beanies Wash Care

  • Don't dry-clean.
  • Hand washable.
  • Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and and like colors. You can use a small amount of chlorine bleach, but non-chlorine is the safer option. 
  • After washing, don't leave the clothing to soak or lie in a pile while wet.
  • Don't wring out. 
  • Tumble-dry on a cool air setting, or hang-dry for longest life.
  • Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration.
  • If the garment needs ironing, do it inside-out, preferably between two pieces of cloth
  • You shouldn't wet embroidery before ironing or use a steam iron.

Important to Note

If you notice any color residue in water, rinse the garment in lukewarm water and then in cold several times, but try not to rub any stained embroidery.

Our Journey of Love and Creativity

Life has a way of surprising us and inspiring creativity. You never know when you might meet the love of your life, just like Elja, the founder of Dovey Duds, who stumbled upon her soulmate through a series of random events.

But love comes with its own set of challenges, particularly for the 14 million Americans (just Americans!) in long-distance relationships.

After saying goodbye to her fiancé at the airport, Elja felt a wave of heartbreak and loneliness. Instead of wallowing in sorrow, she chose to celebrate their love, leading to the creation of Dovey Duds.

She designed fun, soft clothing that captures the essence of their silly moments together, allowing others to wear their stories with pride.
